Telecomms is probably no different to any other company overhead, except it is probably larger that most other costs. So, the question arises as to what can be done to control and mitigate these costs? The answer is call logging and the reason ultimately is responsibility.

Unless you can pinpoint who is creating your high telephone costs and why, there is little you can do but grin and bear it.

Call logging enables you to identify not only who makes phone calls, but it enables you to group phones and costs by department or subsidiary organization. Now you can budget and allocate departmental budgets.

Novalog IP call logging is designed to connect to multiple PABX's via serial or TCP/IP and provide real-time reporting of telephone usage and the logging of other telecomms systems.

Novalog IP call logging has a scalable web interface via the Industry standard IIS5, Novalog IP can provide thousands of concurrent User connections, and allow everyone from a normal telephone user to a department or building administrator to see varying levels of information.

Novalog IP call logging reports are generated using standard HTML and VML, thereby conforming to today's high-security LAN restrictions on email and Internet usage.

Novalog IP's logging reports can be run through its own interface, or (as most users do) through the web browser that is provided as standard. The reports can be produced in a variety of formats including: HTML, Excel, Word, PDF or Text . These can be output to a File , Printer or to any Email address.

Alarms and Exceptions

Novalog IP has an extensive Alarm and Exception module to ensure the smooth operation of your system and to alert you to any possible toll-fraud at any of your sites.

The Alarms can be sent via Email, SMS or to any designated printer on your network. In addition, Duplex is notified of any loss of data or connection automatically.
